Superb Starlings are at the brilliant best when the sun is high in the sky and the light glistens against their plumage. (yes, this does create some harsh shadows, but that's a small price to pay)

Iiridescent blue-to-green back (Sapphire to metalic green / teal), upper breast, wings, and tail. The belly is red-orange, separated from the blue breast by a white bar.
